Johnny Depp joined Jeff Beck on his European tour just days before the jury finalized their deliberations and reached a verdict in the defamation case against his ex-wife. On June 1, 2022, the 6-week defamation trial reached it’s conclusion coincidentally on “World Narcissistic Abuse Awareness Day.” The jury awarded him $10 million in compensatory damages and $5 million in punitive damages.
Settles Defamation Judgment With Amber Heard
Johnny Depp and his ex-wife settled the defamation judgment amount for $1 million dollars after Heard agreed to withdraw her appeal. As part of the judgment settlement agreement, neither party will be able pursue legal action as related to the 2018 defamation. Heards’ settlement will be paid by her insurance company and Johnny has stated that he has pledged, and will donate the full amount to charities.

Once Johnny Depp fans around the world became aware of Captain Kori, hundreds of thousands of people rallied together to gain support and follows for Captain Kori.
